How to use Ernær.
Most things in the app are one tap or one swipe away. Here is what is easy to miss, and the maths behind your targets.
How we work out your targets.
During setup you tell the app who you are, how active you are and what you want to achieve. From that, Ernær works out daily targets for energy, protein, carbs, fat, fibre, vitamins and minerals.
Build the home screen you want to see.
The home screen is made of widgets. You decide which ones you want, and in what order.
Swipe to log.
Tap the fork in the middle of the menu to open Eat. Your meals live there, and most are logged with a single swipe.
Make a meal your way.
Tap + in Eat, or hold the fork, to make a new meal. Add ingredients yourself, or let AI do the work.
Count pieces, not grams.
Many foods have portions like Small, Medium and Large, each with its own weight. Pick a count and a size, and the app works out grams and nutrition.
Add what is missing.
If you cannot find a food, you create it yourself as an ingredient, a product or a supplement.
One minute a week.
Once a week the app asks you to check in. That is how it learns how your body actually responds to what you eat.
A helper that knows the app.
The agent can do most things you can do in the app. Type, talk or send a photo.
